Hawkeye McLean, a faithful friend and beloved family member, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, in Robinson with his mom and dad by his side, at the age of 16. Born on March 9, 2009, Hawkeye was not just a pet; he was a cherished part of the McLean family, having been gifted to Wade and Brittany as a wedding present. From that day forward, he accompanied them through every milestone, marking moments of joy, laughter, and companionship.

Hawkeye's personality was vibrant and engaging. He thrived on being with his family, always eager for attention and ready to play fetch at a moment’s notice. His boundless energy brought life to every room, and his passion for throwing a ball filled many days with excitement and fun. Despite his playful habits—which occasionally led him to wreak havoc on their carpets—Hawkeye’s loyalty and warmth completely overshadowed any mischief he may have caused.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often sitting next to his dad, Wade, as they watched games together, a pose that embodied comfort and companionship. His siblings, Jagger and Brooks, adored him, and their home in Robinson was brightened continually by his loving presence.

Hawkeye formed an especially close bond with his companion cat, George, who has sadly passed but shared a deep friendship marked by warm memories. Together, they created a unique dynamic that added to the richness of the McLean household.
